Yes rotating your tires is one of the most important things you can do to protect your tire investment. The front tires tend to get edge ware from cornering and need to be moved to the rear to help correct this condition. Also leaving them in the same place to long can cause cupping this can shorten the life of your tires as well. Some tires need to be rotated every 5000 miles some can go to 10,000 miles it all depends on how and where you drive.

Believe it or not some H.I.D. headlamps cost as much as $280.00 each plus the install. Many times these headlamps will last the life of your car so you won’t need to replace them. Standard headlights get dimmer over time and need to be replaced so night driving is safe. More and more cars and trucks are coming with H.I.D. lights from the factory because they are brighter and usually last much longer.

Many times this is because the engine mounts are going bad and the normal engine vibrations that good mounts absorb is transferred through the car. It’s not that the engine will fall out or anything like that, but it is important to have them replaced so that the vibrations won’t damage anything else

That’s a good question, and it depends who you ask, how long the tire was driven on low on pressure. Manufactures like B.M.W. say never repair a run flat tire replace only. Briggstone says yes as long as the tire was not driven low on pressure as long as you use a plug-patch system to repair it. At Poirier’s we would have to inspect the tire and give you the answer from there.

In most cases you should not change the tire size on you car, if your car is a latter model it is most important that you keep the size tire your car came with. The transmission and fuel injection take in information about tire size and m.p.h. to control shifting and engine operation. Changing tire size can cause problems in these areas. The tire size your car came with will be posted on the door post of your car.

You may need a wheel alignment, but that won’t fix a 65 M.P.H. shake. Alignment will have to do with how well your tires are wearing and if your car pulls left or right. A 65 M.P.H. shake will most likely be caused by a bad tire or tire balance, if it has been a while since you had your tires rotated and balanced that would be the first thing to try.
