Many times a clicking noise in turns will be a bad drive axle or outer C.V. joint. What happens is the boot that covers the joint to keep water and dirt out of it tears open and the joint becomes contaminated then the internal parts of the joint go bad causing this noise. By the time you hear it you should get to your service center soon for a repair.

Yes, you should always have the rotors resurfaced. The rotor will have imperfections that the old pads have matched as they wear when you install new pads they don’t match the rotor which will set up noise when braking and the brakes will not be working at 100% efficiency. Also many times you will end up with a pulsation in the brake system when the rotors are not resurfaced.

The answer is absolutely not. Anyone can buy an alignment machine, but it takes someone skilled to use it correctly, and it takes someone with integrity to take the time to do it right. I’m sure you or someone you know has experienced a bad wheel alignment. If the technician takes the time to do it right it will stay that way. Over time bushings and other front end parts will wear and the alignment will have to be adjusted. It’s a good idea to have it checked each year.

Most of the time if you hear a click but the car won’t turn over the problem will be in the starter motor. In the past we would remove the starter and replace the bad parts and reinstall it, but in our throw away society, it’s cheaper many times to just replace the starter. It’s not always easy to do this job so if your a do it yourself person, take a good look you may want to get it into your service center for repair.

That’s a good question. Many things can cause this from a bad relay that operates the compressor to a leak in freon to a bad compressor or connection. The fact is there is no answer to this until your service center takes a look, many times it will be a simple repair so don’t always think of the worse case. As the warmer months will be here before you know it, you should have the A/C checked to be sure it’s ready for summer.

You know for years and years we have plugged tires with no problems. I think due to the construction of tires today it’s a problem, the plugs have been coming out and the tire deflate’s rapidly causing loss of control of the vehicle. The most important thing is if the tire has been run low on air it can become damaged on the inside and show very little damage on the outside, if we don’t break the tire down and patch it but just plug it we may be sending you out with a defective tire. It’s always better to patch the tire.
