At low speeds my steering wheel shakes, what could be the problem?

The most common problem would be a tire issue, if one of the tires is beginning to separate or has a bubble in the tread it will cause the steering wheel to shake. This is a very serious situation and needs to be addressed as soon as possible, a tire in this condition can fail completely and leave you stuck on the road, or worse.
