You may think this is an easy question to answer and on average you could say every five to seven thousand miles. But that really may not be the right answer for you. Depending on how you drive and what tires you have you may need to rotate every three thousand miles, then other tires may be every ten thousand miles. The best answer is to be sure your certified service center, inspects your tires each oil change and rotates when necessary.

It can be a number of things, it may be coolant from a bad heater core, or a water leak from rain, but most of the time it’s an A/C condensation leak. The A/C drain will at times become clogged just like in your home A/C system, and just like in your home you do need to service the A/C drain system in your car to be sure it’s open and moving all that water outside the passenger compartment.

The oil level light is not like the oil pressure light if you get the warning of no oil pressure you need to stop as soon as it’s safe and check the oil yourself or get someone to do it for you. The oil level light is also very important and the level needs to be checked as soon as you can. It’s never a good idea to drive with either one of these lights on. serious engine damage may result.

As we took a look at the car we found that the battery was in deed dead, so we installed a fully charged test battery and sure enough the alternator was not putting out any power, upon further inspection we found that the signal to turn the alternator on was not there, in this car the alternator is controlled by the electronic control module. That’s where the real problem was we had to replace the E.C.M. and the alternator was fine.
