What is the T.P.M.S.?

This stands for tire pressure monitor sensor. This is a great system to let you know if you’re getting a low tire. Each wheel has a sensor in side, it sends a signal to a module inside your car if a tire gets low it will let you know by turning on a warning light. These sensors have a battery molded inside if the battery goes bad the sensor has to be replaced. If your car is six or seven years old the battery’s may be getting weak. They can be tested with a scanner at your certified service center.

My car shakes at around 60 m.p.h.do i need an alignment?

Unless your alignment is very bad, say you have been in an accident and parts were bent, an alignment won’t cause a high speed shake. What you will find is a bad tire or your tires are out of balance. As the tires wear the balance will change it’s always a good idea to have the balance checked at each rotation.

Why are my tires wearing on the inside only?

download (54)This is caused by an alignment problem, there are three main adjustment in alignment “camber” “caster” and “toe”  camber and toe are the two tire wear angles. Negative camber and toe out will cause inside tire wear problems. the only way to have this corrected is by installing the proper alignment equipment and having a certified technician make the adjustments.
